AMA successfully delivered the $600k pilot project for IP Australia in 2015.

This project involved:

  • a 1200m2 fitout, involving the use of multiple workstation and storage systems, allowing IP Australia to trial different methods of ‘hot desking’ to determine which method would be beneficial for future fitouts
  • a new large breakout area, multiple meeting rooms, offices and a new utility area
  • an occupied area that had to remain in operation throughout the construction period
  • developing a detailed staging plan with key stakeholders to ensure minimal impact on day-to-day activities.

AMA Projects was proactive in overcoming design problems. In one particular instance, a structural engineer was engaged to design numerous custom steel supports for the operable wall due to mechanical ductwork impeding ceiling space. This saved the need for a costly re-design of the fitout and allowed the programme to be completed on schedule.
